I am convinced it all goes back to one thing. This is what happens when everyone gets a trophy. Gee, little Johnny, you participated in the soccer tournament so now you get a trophy!

Once you get to the real world, no one gives you a trophy for showing up and no one gives you a internship that is guaranteed to lead to a full time position just because you want it.

I have some of these recent grads working at my company and their sense of entitlement literally leaves me speechless.

Their parents have done them no favors.
