The weird & wacky stuff confiscated at New York Customs ...
from the New York Daily News.
A dead relative, a dead cat stuffed with drugs, live pigeons (a unique NYC souvenir choice). People just try to go right through airport security with all kinds of interesting stuff. And weapons. And seven pounds of heroin in the form of candy bars. Now that dude must have been acting REAL suspicious because it seems like that might be one you'd get away with. They'd even been "produced in a candy factory" according to a customs spokesperson. Yet someone still told me they could get by with four ounces of yogurt last summer, prepared with the explanation that they were only going to eat three ounces and share the fourth. True story.
