Talk about hangin' loose in Hawaii!  "Searle Pestana, 61, has been a driver with TheBus for 36 years", and that can get a little boring.  Apparently, Hawaii has some kind of "three strikes" rule and they just give you two, because "He has two prior drunken driving convictions -- one in 2000 and another in 2002."

Parents Let Kid Drop Out Of High School To Focus On Guitar Hero

I really thought this was a headline from The Onion, but it's true it's really true.  It's here in a real honest to goodness newspaper, though not the Houston Chronicle this time.  The parents really are paying for tutors to home school the kid so he can concentrate on his Guitar Hero skills.  "They would have preferred that he stay in high school with his brother. But he bugged them until they let him quit."  If the whole professional video game player job doesn't work out, he just might have a good career in sales.

From my favorite, The Houston Chronicle.  Obviously, Marshal Decker had never been to a Wal-Mart before and was unprepared for the language spoken by the customers there.  So when a woman was "talkin' like she always dew" he "pulled out his handcuffs"  I shit you not!  His handcuffs!  I suppose he carries them in case he catches an arsonist at the scene.  At least he didn't draw his weapon.  Best quote, "Can you believe this? He's fuckinging arresting me for saying fuck!"
It just might dawn on him that if he simply camps out at the store and writes a ticket for everyone who's cussin', they can buy two of those shiny new fire trucks by the end of the month.

Awesome Notes: This stuff would be awesome.

Charter airplane flights.  This is an experiment in technology algorithms.  Another would be an experiment in the rhythms of the native people of Jamaica.  If you listened in surround sound in Dolby 5.1 then watched the high definition on a flat panel television you could perform your own experiment.  Buying Bose speakers is a great way to make your Mercedes sound better.  And nothing looks better than gold jewelry.  But a Florida vacation home would be a great getaway, in particular if you have a charter flight on an airplane.
